In addition, campers attend presentations and tours from Vanderbilt faculty and staff such as:

  • Forensic science demonstrations: Jennifer Hall, Tennessee Bureau of Investigation
  • Lego® MindStorms® projects: Sam Bhattacharyya, Graduate Student in Mechanical Engineering
  • LifeFlight tour: flight nurses and communications staff
  • Organ recital: Dr. Tyler Morris, Research Fellow in Molecular Physiology and Biophysics
  • Physics demonstrations: Dr. Joe Hamilton, Landon C. Garland Distinguished Professor of Physics and Astronomy

Summer 2011 Camp Info

Session I: June 20 - 24, 2011

Session II: June 27 - July 1, 2011

Times: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily

Level*: 7th & 8th graders

Cost: $175 for the 5-day session

* Level is based on the grade completed before the summer starts.

Information for camps in the summer of 2012 will be available on this website, on Facebook, and on Google+ in late February 2012.

There is no pre-registration or waiting list available.
